What to Expect
Arriving at Red Hill Baptist you know you are walking into history. The church was planted in 1893 as a venture of three area churches: Greenbrier Baptist, Sugar Grove Baptist, and Utica Baptist churches. We are a small facility. If a service is well attended it will be rather crowded inside. But that’s good.

Obviously we are a rural church. Once inside you may see people you know, maybe your neighbors. Warm smiles and handshakes will welcome you before you are seated. Our Sunday prelude offers lively piano and organ music to set our affections on things above. Announcements and updates open the service, then our congregation singing begins. Most of our songs are from the hymn book, but we also include recent music from contemporary writers.

Our preaching is from the King James Bible. There are some available in the seats if you wish to follow. Sometimes Pastor Schroader may step to the piano, or play his guitar to lead a song during the message. Sometimes a song can help bring the message to heart. You may be surprised how music is done at Red Hill.

We promise not to send texts and mail after your first visit. However, if you choose to return a second time, we hope you will complete a guest card and possibly start a connection to Red Hill.

We hope to see you this Sunday. We have good fellowship and we believe it will be sweeter if you join us at Red Hill Baptist Church.
